If you want to be a poet,
you must feel a need for it.
The best human language for sure…
is sweet harmonic rhyming pure,
is definitively the Italian one.
Is a melodic language ideal to be sung.
Is offering the best poetry’s rhyme.
For it give you all the emotional chimes,
is Ideal for story and prose.
Is a language magic as a rose,
but for a poetry, to be respected…
the rhyme must be selected.
You’ll have to twist the phase,
changes the rules and the base.
Especially those grammatical!
You can use the rules of mathematical:
the right rhymes can go in sestina,
or you can alternate in “quartina”.
They can also go two by two,
in this case they can rhyme with you.
Without rhyme if you pick a flower,
the poetry won’t have any power.
You can be sure without a rhyme,
it will not stick in your mind.
Remember always to follow your heart,
love for sure, will help you to start!
